Software engineer with nearly a decade of experience building backend systems. Currently based in the Netherlands, working on ERP software specialized in commodity trading.
What I Do
I build backend systems primarily with PHP (Symfony) and MySQL.
For the frontend, I prefer vanilla JavaScript and lightweight libraries like HTMX over heavy frameworks.
I write infrastructure as code with Pulumi (when managing cloud resources), and automate infrastructure with Ansible (when managing self-managed systems).
I also handle monitoring and observability with Grafana and Sentry, help with technical decisions, and guide teams on building maintainable systems.
When Not Coding
I like to play with my toddlers, travel, and sleep.
